It also makes it feel like, they knew the song needed a longer bridge but, they didn't know what to do so they just added this super long part her vocals. It was long because the chorus and pre-chorus are (sorta) long, so your ears can get a proper break from them.Īfter you hear Mia's vocals for a while, you are like the bridge is gonna end now, but it doesn't and than you think now again and your wrong again, yes that does happen. Yes, it was long, but it had a reason to be. The bridge, this is the first song I've ever said this about, they nailed it. The third one has these, stomp or marching sounds(?) which makes it louder. Lastly, the third chorus is louder than the second but not because of the base, because both of them sound hollow and they have lesser beat than the first one. The second one is more hollower and has less base in it, so it's less louder. The first chorus is very loud and has heavy base. The last thing about the chorus i wanna talk about is the differences between all three. So they are singing it in Korean, and in Korean it's pronounced that way. The title is written in Korean "봉봉쇼콜라" and,if you can't read Hangul it would be pronounced like "Bo Bo Shocola" or something like that nkdfjd. People are also saying they didn't pronounce "Bon Bon Chocolat" right but they actually did. So the chorus, beat drop people, I haven't ever heard casual beat drops in any song other than this one. If it wasn't included in the song, the pre-chorus would seem pretty empty. It's something I would not expect to hear in a song like this and it's sort of deep into the song but once you hear it you wont be able to unhear it. I personally at first didn't hear it, but form of therapy, I watched his video on this debut and he pointed it out. The last thing I wanna talk about for the pre-chorus is, this note you hear in the background. One thing that could've made it better is if E:U pronounced it better, like in all honesty, I couldn't tell she was saying "You gotta want my everything." Also, right before they make the transition from the pre-chorus to chorus, you can hear a clock ticking, that's cool because you can see a clock in the class(?) background. It's alien-ish in a way, not that alien-ish, but it sorta is.īut it's very interesting to hear, enjoyable interesting. That was okay though, because it's such a unique sound, that your ears are fine with that. The verses are filled super well, and they sound so good. It's like this instant mood changer, and it amazed me. ![]() As soon as the verses begin, something like a chill and casual beat drop happens and, the song switches from upbeat to a super relaxed and chill song. The intro, which was seconds long lead me to believe, that the song is a upbeat sort of song like love bomb by fromis9. ![]() I do like cute concepts but, I am not a big fan of words like chocolate, sweet, candy and etc to be in titles or choruses of songs, it's just a personal preference of mine. The title though, took me a while to click on this video, just because of the title. ![]() The song itself is just so dope, I personally found it super surprising. ![]() Disclaimer: All the groups or artists I am mentioning in the review, I am in no way hating on them or comparing them to Everglow or each other in any way, thank you.
